Model "Hubertus": The classic loden coat in its original form!

The Hubertus coat was designed as a hunting coat and the open armhole in the lower sleeve reminds of it. However, it was so popular that it became a universal item of clothing with great popularity in the Alpine region in the last century. The line loden was used as protection from rain, as the brushed surface of the loden created a line that drains off water well. With him you were always well dressed and his detailed solutions such as the access to a jacket or trousers are still very popular today. The open lower sleeve allows more freedom of movement. Our braided leather buttons are advantageous for hunters and nature lovers, as they do not cause a metallic sound when bumped and are not clearly perceptible by the game. With gloves and cold hands, our large leather buttons can be closed much faster and more conveniently than a concealed button placket.

The olive bar loden (loden in which the fibers are laid in one direction; this roof tile-like laying of the wool fibers allows water to roll off) is particularly water-repellent and breathable. This special finish gives the bar loden a very nice shine and soft feel.
